Marc Cav is a Korda sponsored angler from Hertfordshire. We have followed Cav for a number of years, his ability to catch carp from every venue he chooses to fish is what sets him aside from many other anglers around him.

One of angling’s true nice guys, Cav spends a lot of his time helping the Korda academy members and working with various charities including iCarp.

Ian MacLaren runs his own lead making business – Winslow Lead Services. He has also produced some quality baits of his own in the past.

His eye for detail and carp catching abilities brought him onto our radar.

Another short session angler who seems to catch on every trip.

.

Paul Newman has been a friend of ours for 20 years. He is a hard working, dedicated angler.  With a busy family and work life he still manages great success in mostly short sessions.

Paul has tested nearly every product we produce.

Greg Richardson has fished alongside the biggest names in carp fishing for over three decades.

He rarely publicises his captures although he did write a chapter in one of Terry Hearn’s famous books.

His carp fishing CV of UK 40 and 50lb captures is an impressive feat.

Ed has become a good friend of ours in recent years. He loves fishing European canals and still waters, he became notorious for catching a UK 60lb mirror.

Ed grew up on the banks of the famous River Kennet and has had a life long affair with angling.

Glenn Maulkerson is a well known big fish angler who has spent his life fishing the pressured circuit waters around the South and Midlands. The list of 30 and 40lb carp that Glenn has accumulated puts him in a very unique category. He is also one of the most loyal anglers around!

An integral part of the Handcraft team.

Young Harry Davy impressed us from the very first day we spoke to him. Keen as can be and a really good little angler who goes fishing for the enjoyment. We just know that he has a bright future ahead of him and we will be helping him stay one step ahead.

Harry’s catch reports made him stand out from the crowd and he already has a huge PB caught from the notorious Layer Pits.

Carl is in the privileged position of working at the UK’s premier day ticket complex. He has a great wealth of knowledge on how to fish busy waters and he catches loads of carp.

Liam is a busy family man who spends his spare time chasing catfish and carp from a variety of different venues across the Midlands.

Liam caught well over 100 20lb+ commons from his local syndicate in 2020 which is a phenomenal result.

Zac is probably one of the best session anglers we have never met. Even though he spent much of his life in the army he managed to land many of the UK’s known target fish in the last 20 years.

We have lost track of how many 40lb+ carp he has on his CV. Zak is a very well travelled angler and has friends throughout Europe.

Captain Nick only gets to fish two nights a month on average, but that has never stopped him catching a crazy amount of huge carp in the last few years.

Nick is an expert at range fishing, but also adaptable in any situation.

Cliff is probably one of the most notorious anglers in the day ticket carp scene. He has an incredible tally of 50lb+ UK carp to his name.

His strengths are his unrivalled accuracy and ability to build up multiple hits of day ticket carp.

We had to get Reg involved after watching him angle at Wellington Country Park. He is accurate, mobile, incredibly honest and a very hard working angler.

We are almost shocked if he blanks!

Another angler who constantly impresses us with his ability to catch carp and juggle a busy family life.

Jamie has a meticulous approach to his fishing and his highly mobile style of angling sets him apart from the crowds.

Jon is one of the most loyal and competent anglers around. We became good friends whilst fishing the Oxfordshire gravel pits. His constant  run of impressive captures made him an obvious choice to join the Handcraft family.

Jon is an integral part of the team.

Dan has caught a crazy number of huge UK carp. Much of his work has been kept in the shadows, never the less he continues to land big fish from the trickiest of venues.

Dan is a hardworking and honest angler, who is well known on the big fish scene.

George Norris and Gav have fished together since they were old enough to hold a rod. George is a hunter in every sense of the word and his ability to extract carp from a small farm pond or an inland sea sets him apart from the crowds.

One of the finest anglers around and George is not afraid to rough it in the coldest of conditions.

Wayne is well known around the Oxfordshire circuit waters, in the last few years he has landed plenty of stunning carp from venues such as Orchid and Linear Fisheries.

Wayne amazed us in 2020 with the number of 30lb+ carp he caught.

Billy Rees has showed a huge amount of loyalty to handcraft and his catch reports have impressed us over the last year so. Billy’s highlights included catching a U.K. 60lb common and several U.K. 40s last year! Welcome to the team Billy

Nick Miles is a valuable member of the Handcraft team. Nick is another family man who only gets to fish at weekends yet somehow seems to always come up with the goods.

Nick has also had great success on a range of European venues whilst being consistent on the U.K. day ticket scene.
